History of mankind

well. actually just water. At least that was the task.

I was given the topic of how water is held, and then sent off to the museum to frantically draw everything that could do so. At first I planned to go for a comical approach of things that would accidentally hold water, but I was just completely overwhelmed by the amount of jugs and vases (,as you can probably see...). At first I cringed at the idea of working with a template, but I am happy with the result, not so much because of any technical feats but because I would have never worked this way naturally.

  1. I love what you did with the shapes here - drawing more jugs within the space of larger ones!

  2. thank you! It's actually cut outs of jugs with a photocopy of the same image but upside down underneath...

(I'm perfectly aware that that sentence makes no sense to anyone other then me, but it's been about 10 minutes and it's the only way I can think of phrasing it. Knowing this is probably not going to change your deciphering of my poor grammer, I just thought you, whoever you are, would appreciate that I sympathize with your difficulty. Also, I am aware that reading this is probably a waste of your day, but all the same, I appreciate your time... and attempted understanding.)

    xoxo!
